Two-person verification drills
Read-backs work when they feel procedural. Theatrics hide mismatches.
Verification pairs in Offline Ledger Studio follow a short script: reader speaks one token at a time, checker marks a silent tally, and either person may call a halt. No improvisation mid-sheet.
Why silence helps
Commentary (“I think that was…”) contaminates the check. The Record Center verification log only needs a pass/fail mark, the time, and a note if a rewrite is required.
Rotate roles
People who always read and never check miss half the skill. Midway through a practice phrase set, swap. Fatigue shows up as skipped marks — another reason sessions stay short.
Solo adaptations
Without a partner, record yourself and check on a different day. It is slower and less robust, but still trains attention better than a single glance.
